Why BODHI SAMBAD?
Why BODHI SAMBAD?
Bodhi Sambad 2026 - meaning “Enlightened Dialogue”—revives Nepal’s legacy of thoughtful discourse, drawing on traditions that value truth, balance, and diverse perspectives. Rooted in the spirit of the Middle Path, it provides a platform to examine complex challenges through reasoned dialogue rather than extremes. This year’s edition focuses on two central themes: understanding evolving geopolitical dynamics in South Asia—particularly the role of China and regional strategic autonomy—and advancing Nepal’s economic transformation. The dialogue brings together ideas on governance reform, investment, job creation, anti-corruption, and unlocking the private sector to overcome the country’s long-standing low-growth, high-migration cycle. At a time of rising youth aspirations and intensifying geopolitical pressures, Bodhi Sambad 2026 serves as a space to explore solutions across key areas including Himalayan security, digital sovereignty, rule of law, human capital, and the creative economy—helping shape a resilient and forward-looking future for Nepal and the region.
